In expected cut off for SSC CHSL 2015, the merit list for lower division clerk, data entry operator and postal assistant posts will be declared at the official portal of the Commission (ssc.nic.in). According to the latest official update SSC CHSL 2015 result is likely to be declared on 22 July 2016. Soon after the formal declaration of the result, the Commission will make it live on the official webpage and make it available for the awaiting candidates. SSC CHSL 2015 Expected Cut-off and Analysis The candidates who have undergone the SSC CHSL 2015 exam have rated the question to be Moderate. The CHSL Examination consisted of 200 questions in four parts which carried consequently 200 marks. Each of the paper carried equal number of questions (50). They reported that the most tough section was ‘quantitative aptitude’ while the easiest one was of ‘reasoning’. Rest of the papers, General Intelligence and General Awareness, were of moderate level and carried questions from the expected realms. This varied from candidates to candidates according to their preparation and approach towards the questions.

The CHSL examination 2015, as the name suggests contained questions from 10+2 standard. The examination contained four papers namely, General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. The questions asked were multiple choice objective ones with negative marks associated with each of the questions.

General Candidates can expect a cut off marks for LDC post ranging from 127-131 and those applied for DEO posts can expect this to range from 130-133.

Though exact figure can’t be ascertained at this moment, but taking the previous year trend into consideration, the cut off marks for SSC CHSL 2015 will be very much near to that of previous year. While a cut off of 120-130 is expected for the general category, for other categories it will be in the usual trend. Candidate should however note that the figures mentioned here are not final; these are based upon the feedback given by examinees. It is only for reference.

The SSC CHSL 2015 Examination was held at various regional and sub regional offices of the Commission. under whose jurisdiction the Centre selected by him / her falls. Candidates were allowed the option to select the examination centre while filling up the application form.

The examination consisted of a Written Examination and Skill Test for the post of Data Entry Operator and Written Test and Typing Test for the post of Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Lower Division Clerk on Computer. The written examination comprised of four papers. The total time duration allowed to the examinees was 02 hours. The question paper consisted of questions from General Intelligence (50 questions; 50 marks), English Language (50 questions; 50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions; 50 marks) and General Awareness (50 questions; 50 marks). The written examination was set in English and Hindi for all sections except English Language. Each wrong answer carried negative marking of 0.25 marks.

After the written examination, candidates were shortlisted for the skill test/Typing Test on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination. Candidates who qualified in the skill test/Typing Test were recommended for appointment by the Commission. Allocation of candidates was made to User Departments depending upon their merit position and the option exercised by them.

The SSC CHSL 2015 examination was held under strict vigilance. Use of mobile phone, calculator and other electronic gadgets and their accessories was not permitted inside the examination hall. The Commission had strictly mentioned that candidature of any candidate found to possess mobile phones or any other means of wireless communication or related accessories either in working or switched off mode shall be cancelled forthwith. Candidates were advised to desist from use of any unfair method in the examination hall else they will be considered ineligible for future examinations and also be debarred from Commission’s examinations in future besides inviting criminal prosecution.

Candidates with educational qualification of 10+2 pass were eligible to appear for the SSC CHSL Exam 2015. The age limit criterion was set to be 18-27 years. In addition to the educational qualification, the Commission had also set post specific eligibility requirements. All candidates who were called for appearing at the Typing Test/Skill Test had to produce the relevant Certificate in Original such as Mark sheets, Provisional Certificate, etc. as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification. The candidates who were able to prove, by documentary evidence that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cutoff date i.e. 01.08.2015 and he/she was declared passed, to have the required Educational Qualification.

The Commission had invited applications online or by post in the prescribed format. Application fee of Rs 100 was mandatory for the candidates. The candidates who had submitted application offline (paper mode) paid the fee by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)"only. Payment of application fee was exempted for all women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders.

Staff Selection Commission had invited applications for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2015 through an official advertisement released on 13 June 2015. Though initially the Commission had scheduled the SSC CHSL 2015 examination on 01, 15 and 22 November, later the examination was extended to 06, 20 December 2015. The admit card for the examination was released on 23 October 2015.
